Certified Physician Associate and Registered Dietitian Laura Kahle treats adults and children with allergies, asthma, and immunodeficiencies. Laura was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor’s from the University of Florida in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She then went on to complete her Dietetic Internship and Master’s in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at Saint Louis University. Laura initially worked in exercise research at Washington University prior to transitioning to pediatric nutrition at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She graduated from the Physician Associate program at Saint Louis University and has been working in the field of allergy and immunology ever since.
Laura joined Allergy, Asthma & Food Allergy Centers in 2017 and has become an integral part of the practice. In addition to seeing patients, she is the OIT (oral immunotherapy)/food desensitization Program Coordinator (program started in 2016 and the first of its kind in the greater St. Louis region). She loves being able to combine her nutrition background with practice’s vision of expanding food allergy treatment options for the St. Louis community. In her free time, she loves spending time with her adorable daughters, husband, and loving dogs.
